The novel narrates the story of a young man who arrives in an unknown city and meets Francesca, the girlfriend of the owner of the local bar. The Tarantole project deals with the impossibility of love in a world where language is so powerful, that it sucks up every human feeling. On the other hand, only language will give humans the illusion of being able to catch and truly depict a feeling.
